Zum einen damit sie gut zu verarbeiten sind, zum andern damit sie durch schneiden, nähen, füllen, verpacken und transportieren nicht verschmutzen. Dieses Geräusch verschwindet alleine durch die Benutzung – durch das „zerknittern“ des Stoffes.

…über die Jahre mussten wir die Erfahrung sammeln, dass die Stoffe ab ungefähr 200NM „lauter“ sind, als die etwas dickeren Gewebe. Woher das genau kommt ist nicht wirklich klar – und wir möchten Ihnen auch auf gar keinen Fall anraten nur Decken mit stärkeren Geweben zu kaufen, da diese ja auch schwerer sind. Aber auch hier ist es so, dass das Rascheln mit dem Gebrauch recht bald verschwindet.

Solche werden Sie hier bei uns nicht finden, aber diese Decken werden durchaus gefertigt und verkauft. Ein hoher Federnanteil sorgt dafür, dass die Federn sich aneinander reiben und verkeilen – das können Sie mit einem guten Gehör durchaus als knistern oder knacken wahrnehmen.

Wenn es nur das Gewebe ist, kann man vorbeugen, indem der Stoff vor der Verarbeitung gewaschen wird (Stoff vorwaschen) – was bedeutet: Ihre „neue“ Decke sieht nicht mehr wirklich neu aus, sondern wie etwa zwei Jahre benutzt. Denn durch das Waschen und trocknen zerknittert der Stoff, wird weich und auch weniger glänzend… aber er wird eben auch „ruhig“.
Ebenso funktioniert es bei den drei ersten Punkten häufig (nicht immer!) bereits fertige Decken komplett zu waschen. Bitte nicht zu Hause – denn Ihre Waschmaschine und auch der Trockner sind zu klein, als dass die gute Füllung und vor allem das Gewebe sich wirklich wieder gut entfalten können – geben Sie diese zu uns oder zu einem Fachkollegen, dann waschen Sie das Rauschen einfach weg.
